Ohrid Airport is an airport in Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia. The airport is located 9 kilometers from Ohrid, along the Struga-Kičevo-Skopje motorway. Also called Ohrid St. Paul The Apostle Airport, the airport is a small tourist airport, providing apron air-parking space for 8 aircrafts from commercial aviation and 5 aircrafts for general aviation. At the moment, passenger terminal and other airport capacities service about 60 000 passengers and about 1 000 aircraft movements annually. The main purpose of St. Paul the Apostle Airport is to serve as an alternative to Alexander the Great Airport at Skopje and cater to flights bringing in tourists destined for Ohrid, and tourism development in the Ohrid tourist area. This airport has small traffic capacity. The apron can accommodate up to 9 aircraft and the terminal is equipped to handle up to 300 000 passengers annually. MAT Macedonian Airlines, Helvetic Airways and Adria Airways are among the few airline companies operating to and from St. Paul the Apostle Airport. Car rental company is also located at the Ohrid airport. Passengers can rent a car for affordable prices and choose between different types of cars. Among other concessions the terminal building encompasses an information desk, a restaurant, a duty-free shop, and a VIP lounge. At the Ohrid Airport the regular traffic is conducted by the domestic airline Macedonian Airlines and 4-5 foreign airlines, operating together to 7-8 European destinations.
